Sierra Tours is a Colombian/German-run organisation, specialised in ecological and trekking tours in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and the National Park Tayrona.

We are legally authorized by the Colombian Institute of Antropology and History to operate tours to the Lost City.

Sierra Tours concentrates on a special service for our customers and we follow our three key words:

We are proud of our reputation to be friendly and honest to our customers and professional in our work. All our guides are certified. They all have completed a 6-month first aid course and carry a first aid kit. To prove our sensitive and ecological tourism, we work only with local guides and other habitants from the region to contribute to the increase of income for the local families.

Ricardo Olarte Padilla is the founder of the organisation and has set up Sierra Tours in 2007. He has worked as an independent tour guide in the Sierra Nevada for many years and is continuously improving and expanding his organization.
Before he set up Sierra Tours, he has lived in Berlin, Germany, for 8 years and lives now in Santa Marta and Berlin.
